My Teaching PhilosophyI telephone my teaching philosophy is best defined as a cabal of progressivism and social reconstructionism. David Sadker, author of Teachers Schools and Society, defines the imperfect educator as individual who, () facilitates learning by helping students formulate meaningful questions and devise strategies to effect those questions, while social reconstructionism emphasizes cooperation, less conflict, and a better quality of life. These cardinal teaching philosophies in combination seem to both fit my compute on how learning should be facilitated and how it should be based. Progressive teachers tend to, manage myself, look for inventive, new, and creative ways to see a problem. In set students into groups they find there are many possible solutions to problems that they would not seeming figure out on their own. I also advocate the progressive approach because I think it promotes children to think for themselves, in that if everyone is not researchin g the same idea or solution they are less likely to play on someone else to supply the answer, and mo...
